This skin loving body detox mud mask will do wonders for anyones skin, especially damaged skin! Moroccan rhassoul clay is super toning, enriching and balancing. French green clay, mined from the bedrock quarries in France, literally drinks oils, toxins and impurities from your skin. Bladderwrack removes excess fluids and serves a gentle detoxifying purpose. While, dead sea grains mineralize the skin. Plus, vitamin c to fight sun spots.
This listing is for one jar, 4 oz.(by volume), enough for 2-3 full body mud masks (can be used on your face also). Place the grains in a clean bowl, mix with desired mixer to your liking of consistency. My suggestion is to exfoliate first (may I recommend one of my scrubs). Next, paint or smooth the mask on from head to toe and wait 20-30 minutes and shower off. Last, follow with your favorite moisturizer. It also really works magic if you hang out in a heated room (think: electric heater in powder room, sip some tea, read your favorite mag.) while waiting for the mask to dry. You can also wrap yourself in thin thin thin sheet strips or muslin strips, this is my favorite way to do the body mask.
Some Suggested Mixers:
Honey: natural humectant (draws moisture out of the air to your skin), natural antiseptic
Yogurt or milk: very creamy and moisturizing, lactic is also great for your skin
Green Tea: a natural antioxidant
Distilled Water
